What Mumba Sells

Mumba Store is an Amazon-focused accessories brand whose catalog is built almost entirely around Nintendo Switch protection. It makes TPU grip cases, hard-shell carrying bags, dockable covers, and game-card holders for every major Nintendo Switch model: the original 2017 Switch, the Switch OLED (2021), the Switch Lite (2019), and the new Nintendo Switch 2 (2025).

A quick note for anyone searching for iPhone 17 Pro Max cases: Mumba does not sell phone cases in its current lineup. Its strength is Nintendo Switch accessories, alongside a well-reviewed line of earplugs and baby ear protection. If you’re looking for iPhone 17 Pro Max cases, that roundup covers brands purpose-built for phone protection.

Nintendo Switch Cases — The Core Business

The flagship Mumba product is the Blade Series case for the original Nintendo Switch, which has accumulated more than 37,000 Amazon ratings at 4.5 stars. That review volume is among the highest of any Nintendo Switch case on the platform. The Blade Series uses a TPU grip shell that fits over the console and Joy-Con controllers while remaining compatible with the Nintendo dock — a feature the brand calls “dockable” that saves users from removing the case every time they switch between handheld and TV mode.

The same Blade design extends to the Nintendo Switch 2 (2025 release). Mumba released the Blade Dockable Case for the Switch 2 shortly after the console launched, and it has already accumulated over 1,600 ratings. The Titan Case for Switch 2 adds a built-in kickstand and seven game-card slots — useful for portable play where you need to prop the console on a surface.

For Switch Lite owners, the Blade Series Lite case is a separate product designed specifically for the smaller Switch Lite body — it does not fit the standard Switch or Switch OLED. Mumba’s lineup covers all four Switch variants with distinct, properly-fitted products.

Earplugs and Baby Ear Protection

Beyond gaming accessories, Mumba sells two highly-rated audio protection products. The High Fidelity Concert Earplugs use a 24 dB filter and are marketed to musicians and festival-goers who want to reduce volume without losing sound clarity. With nearly 8,000 Amazon ratings, these are among the brand’s most-reviewed non-gaming products.

The Baby Ear Protection earmuffs are designed for infants and toddlers aged 3 to 24 months, as stated on the label. They are noise-cancelling over-ear earmuffs intended for use at concerts, fireworks, sporting events, and other loud environments. Always check the fit for your child’s size and supervise use; do not use on infants below the age stated on the label.

Carrying Cases and Storage

Alongside grip and protective cases, Mumba sells a range of hard-shell carrying bags. These are zippered EVA cases that hold the console and accessories for travel. The most reviewed carrying case for the original Switch has over 5,600 Amazon ratings at 4.8 stars, making it one of the best-rated Nintendo Switch bags on the platform. Mumba makes distinct carrying cases for each Switch variant — always check the product title for the specific model compatibility before ordering.

For the Switch 2, Mumba offers multiple carrying case sizes labelled as Mini, Plus, Pro, and Max — each sized to accommodate different amounts of accessories alongside the console. These are recent products and review counts are lower than the older Switch cases, but the brand’s track record with Switch case design gives buyers reasonable confidence in the build quality.

A 12-slot game card case holder is also available as a standalone accessory for storing cartridges, rated 4.6 stars from 1,193 ratings in one variant.

Shipping, Returns, and Warranty

Mumba sells through Amazon, where all standard Amazon shipping and return policies apply, including Prime delivery on eligible items. The brand also operates gomumba.com, which covers a one-year warranty on products. For warranty claims, contact the seller through Amazon’s listing page or via the brand site.

Is Mumba Worth It vs. Alternatives?

For Nintendo Switch cases, Fintie and HORI are the two most direct competitors with high review counts. Fintie offers similar TPU cases at comparable ratings; HORI is a licensed Nintendo peripheral maker with official branding, which appeals to buyers who prioritise first-party certification. Mumba’s advantage is its breadth of Switch 2 cases already on Amazon and the extremely high review counts on its original Switch Blade Series.

For concert earplugs, Loop and Eargasm are well-established alternatives with dedicated audiophile communities. Mumba’s earplugs are significantly more-reviewed than many competitors in the 24 dB filter category.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Mumba make iPhone 17 Pro Max cases?

No. Mumba's catalog on Amazon is focused on Nintendo Switch accessories — cases, carrying bags, and game card holders for the Nintendo Switch (2017), Switch OLED, Switch Lite, and Switch 2. The brand also sells earplugs and baby earmuffs. There are no iPhone 17 Pro Max cases in the current lineup.

Are Mumba Switch 2 cases available now?

Yes. Mumba has released cases specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2 (2025), including the Blade Dockable Case and the Titan Case with kickstand and card slots. Both are listed as in stock at time of research.

Will a Mumba case for the original Switch fit the Switch OLED?

Not all cases are cross-compatible. Mumba makes distinct models for the original Switch (2017), the Switch OLED (2021), the Switch Lite (2019), and the Switch 2 (2025). Check the product title carefully — each listing specifies which console it fits.

Is the Blade Series case dockable?

Yes. The Blade Series cases are designed to be dockable, meaning you can slide the Switch into its dock without removing the case. This is a key selling point that the brand highlights across all Blade Series products.

Are the concert earplugs reusable?

Yes. The High Fidelity Concert Earplugs are reusable and come with a 24 dB filter designed to reduce overall volume while retaining sound quality — intended for musicians and concert-goers who want hearing protection without muffling the music.

What age are the baby earmuffs for?

The Mumba baby ear protection earmuffs are labelled for ages 3 to 24 months, per the product title. Do not use on newborns below the stated age range. Always supervise use and check fit regularly as a child grows.
